It's summer, it's sunny, it's the time when a young man's fancy turns to inviting a whole wad of funky internet people around to his flat the cool pub near his flat for beer and braai.

All the details and the official invite list are on the official 2nd SABB official invite.

If you're not on the invite list, leave me a comment (or send me an email) with your actual email address and I'll add you to the invite list. Once you're coming you can then invite other people. Blog it on your blogs so people know. Spread the news. Summer day time blogmeets with beer and cocktails and silly little gifts are the best kind of blog meets.

Bring friends, bring family, bring fellow bloggers, bring sexy naked girls.

[Update 27/07]

So my great plan of sitting in the sun for the SABB seems to have gone awry. The weather predictions is offically 'pants'.

I have reserved the function room in the back of the bar, which should be a little drier and warmer. If the weather is good we can still go grab a table outside.

I'll bring bondage bear down so you can identify the table if you don't know anyone. Otherwise call me on (leave a comment and I'll email you my number)

See you Saturday. Remember to bring a gift thing. And remember if the weather is as pants as it's predicted to be, we'll be in the function room at the back of the pub.

Funnily enough I was just wondering whether any blog-meets might be coming up.

Unfortunately the not-living-in-london-and-not-having-much-time-or-money thing makes it all a bit awkward, so I doubt I’d be able to make it.

[I’m only explaining all that because it seems a bit rude to enquire about an event you probably can’t actually attend - I know you don’t know me from Adam]

Anyway, to finally get to the point of this post: What is a braai?

I’ve linked the word Braai above, to a definition now. Otherwise see the debate raging on Uborka

Well the ship does do salads and stuff, and I’m sure their is some Mediterranean veg as a menu option too.
